The 41st Annual Fourth of July Arts & Crafts Festival, sponsored by the local High Country Art Association, will be held on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of July this year, at the Orchard at Charlie Clark’s, in Pinetop. Festival hours are Friday and Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM, and 9 AM – 3 PM on Sunday. This family-oriented event is a great way to spend part of your 4th of July weekend and admission is free!
This year’s event features new and returning artists and crafts people, exhibiting their artwork for sale. Some will be demonstrating their creative process. Come meet the exhibitors in person, and enjoy the ambience of the cool shade trees of the Orchard, with live music. Food and beverages will be available as well.
The High Country Art Association is an all-volunteer organization that presents this event, and also operates the High Country Art Gallery at 592 W. White Mountain Boulevard. All members of our community, they are dedicated to promoting the visual arts on the mountain. They take pride in their promotion of the arts, having raised and distributed tens of thousands of dollars, in the form of art scholarships and school equipment and supplies.
Visitors to the festival will have an opportunity to purchase items at the silent auction tent. There will be gift certificates, items donated by local businesses, and artwork donated by participating artists. All of the proceeds from the silent auction will benefit art programs right here in our community. Come join the fun, buy some art, and support arts on the mountain!
