Summer Activities at the Show Low Historical Society Museum

Summer is upon us at the Show Low Historical Society Museum and we have terrific activities each week beginning on Wednesday with the Creative Crafters. This group gathers at the museum from 9 to 11:30 A.M. to create their craft projects and socialize.

Thursday morning brings the Regal Wood Carvers to the museum from 9 to 11:30 A.M. Come join the group to learn wood carving or bring your own project and tools for an educational morning in wood working.

Wednesday and Saturday the Silver Creek Railroaders are running the trains for our visitors to enjoy and reminisce of an era gone by. The railroad display features many White Mountains’ communities connected by the railroad, including Maverick, McNary, Holbrook, Winslow, and the ranching industry.

The museum always offers children’s activities in the Show Low room: reading, puzzles, color pages, and educational tools.

Our research library continues to grow with many local family history books for your research needs.

Hours are Wednesday – Saturday, 10 A.M. to 3 P.M., unless otherwise posted for activities. We welcome group tours and family reunions to join us at:
