Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber Welcomes Mountain Mobile and WMWNC

White Mountain Nature Center

The White Mountain Wildlife & Nature Center, held their Grand opening & ribbon cutting of the Rehab Facility on Saturday, October 29th.  The event started with a welcome from Gil Alvidrez, the vice-president of the Nature Center.  Then there was information given by some of the nature Center Board members concerning the history, future, and marketing efforts for the new facility, including the 2 for 1 pledge drive taking place.  The Elizabeth Ann Parkman Foundation, offered $2 for every $1 the Nature Center could raise, up to $15,000.

Councilwoman Leslee Wessel gave an acknowledgement to the Nature Center for their effort in bringing both the Nature Center & Rehab Facility to our community.  Then everyone followed Jeff Wolf, the Rehab Coordinator, down to the facility to view the new pens, and do the ribbon cutting by the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce.  Lunch was served to all and great conversations continued concerning the Rehab Facility.
