A Letter From The Publisher

Good people of the White Mountains and beyond,

I address you today as a very grateful publisher. Without your support (whether it be in the past, present or even future), the Maverick Magazine would not be celebrating 15 years of serving the communities of the White Mountains and Rim Country. Our mission to spread the good word of local people doing great things has been a very rewarding and more than satisfying experience for my brother Travis and I. We truly feel blessed and in many ways raised by this village.

Having been a bored teenager here once upon a time, I never dreamed that I would grow up to be such a fan of this wonderful place we call home. I also never dreamed that I would have the opportunity to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for fifteen years of good times and support for a locally owned and operated community magazine like the Maverick Maverick. Whether you’re one of our many beloved advertisers or talented contributors or wonderful subscribers or you just pick us up every once in a while, thank you. It has been an honor and we look forward to many more years sharing all the “good stuff” our mountain communities have to offer.

As always, I look forward to what you have to share and am excited to be part of such an amazing community of people doing such great work.

Amie Rodgers
