From May 28th to September 3, come experience the seasonal tastes of Concho’s local gardens and farms at the Concho Community Farmers’ Market. The weekly event is held at the Concho Elementary school gym on Fridays from 4 – 6 PM and Saturdays from 9 – noon.
Travel east from Show Low toward St. Johns and Springerville on highway 60 and you will see for miles and miles in either direction landscape studded with a cedar and juniper forest butting up against silhouettes of mesas to the north and the rolling Mt. Baldy Wilderness foothills to the south. By the time you reach the ‘Y’ (about 10 miles), highway 61 splits off to the left toward St. Johns and the gradual ascent of the highway becomes steeper and the views longer. Your ascent climaxes at about Apache County Road #3148. Travel nine miles further east down into the Concho Valley and you will see the Concho Community Farmers Market sign on the right.
Come on in and meet our local growers and artisans who are happy to share their products and information about our area. Sample and purchase our local fare. Participate in our market games and activities. It’s a destination for the whole family. Vendors welcome! $10 per booth space.
