The Pinetop-Lakeside Senior Center welcomes full time residents and all visitors. Please come and spend some time with us. We have excellent home style dining, great social events and a fantastic thrift store. We welcome people who are 55+ and also those who will be there one day. All we ask is that you enjoy being with others in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We need volunteers to help in the center and thrift shop. We are also looking for people who would like to teach a class or lead an activity.
Our cook, Lucy, has owned several restaurants in the White Mountains, she prepares a home-style, nutritious lunch Monday – Friday. Meals include an entrée, full salad bar, homemade soup, drink, and a delicious dessert. Lunch is served at 11:30 AM at a suggested contribution of $7. Visit our website at www.pinetop-lakesideseniorcenter.weebly.com to view our full menu for the month or check the newspaper on Fridays for the next week menu. You can also call (928) 368-5869.
We have an exercise group Monday – Friday at 8:30am and equipment you are welcome to use at other times. Our card players meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 12:30 to play Hand and Foot. They are a fun group of seniors that love to welcome new people. Our quilters meet on Monday mornings and would love to have people join them to learn this American craft or just engage in conversation. We also have a knitting group on Wednesday afternoon.
We have a great thrift store and if you haven’t been in lately, come browse awhile and find that treasure in a renovated and reorganized store! We also now have a dressing room so you can try that item on before you buy. There are specials throughout the month. The thrift store is open 9 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
