Live On Stage, Inc. and the Tonto Community Concert Association Announce Three Generations of Leahy Musicianship as part of their 2016 – 2017 Concert Season
Fiddle, cello, French accordion, singing, piano, and French-Canadian step-dancing come alive through music, song, and dance with the Leahy family at the Payson High School Auditorium in Payson, Arizona, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Single tickets are $25 and are available at the door. Children and students under age 18 are admitted at no charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
The Next Generation Leahy will also present a Student Outreach concert sponsored by the TCCA on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Payson High School Auditorium for students in grades K-12.
Doug and Jennifer, both having played music throughout their lives, understand the joy and exhilaration that only music can provide. It is no wonder, then, that their children understand innately that music will be a huge part of their lives. Even the youngest children feel the music pulsing through their veins. They are drawn to it. They are passionate about it. It is this drive to create music that has led Doug and Jennifer’s children to achieve so much. Despite their young ages, the children are accomplished multi-instrumentalists. The group, led by Doug, offers live performances that are filled with the high-energy, infectious Celtic-based music people associate with the Leahy heritage.
The Tonto Community Concert Association (“TCCA”) is committed to bringing quality entertainment to the Rim Country through an annual concert series and support of the fine arts in Payson schools. This series is intended as an enriching cultural experience for the people of Payson and those in surrounding communities.
