On August 27th, the new 80-acre Second Knoll Target Range was officially opened to the public. The new range is located on the north side of Second Knoll, which is about four miles east of Show Low.
The opening ceremony was incredibly well attended despite an impending rain shower and included a number of speakers as well as an ice breaking ribbon cutting.
The range is well suited to pistol and rifle target shooting and is operated by the White Mountain Shooters Association, a local non-profit organization.
