The High Country Art Association’s 4th of July Arts & Crafts Festival was a huge success, despite the soaking rain on Friday! When the sun came out on Saturday and Sunday, so did the crowds! We had record attendance, and the visitors enjoyed beautiful artwork, great music, and delicious food and beverages at the Orchard at Charlie Clark’s.
This was the 41st Annual Festival that has been operated by the members of the High Country Art Association. The all-volunteer staff is proud to report our silent auction raised more than $4,200.00, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and exhibiting artists. This money will go to local art programs and scholarships on the mountain.
The High Country Art Association also manages the co-operative High Country Art Gallery, featuring the work of local artists, located at 592 W White Mountain Boulevard. The gallery is open daily except Mondays, through September.
HCAA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and welcomes new members. Visit the website, highcountrygallery.com for upcoming events, classes, workshops, and membership applications.
