An Art Affair at the Gathering Place
Join arts and crafts enthusiasts from all over the White Mountains for three days of art, live music, food, and fun. This first mountain art event of the spring spotlights thirty of our finest Arizona state and local artists’ works. There will be artist demonstrations and many fine-quality crafts including alpaca handmades, quilts, western apparel, and one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, Native American acrylic originals, watercolors, fine-art glass, and hardwood sculptures by Nick Karkula. Visit with Nick (shown above) and all the fine artists from 9 am to 5 pm daily!
There will also be while-u-wait western portraits in full costume by our hometown western photographer Vickie Carlson all weekend!
Live flute music will be featured each morning until noon and awesome rock and folk tribute tunes by guitarist August West each afternoon.
Food, kettle corn, fresh lemonade, and homemade ice cream will be served daily, starting at 9 am. Admission is free and there will be lots of parking. The show will be located at The Gathering Place, 4756 Bucksprings Rd., across from the Pinetop Lakes Country Club, one mile east of Pinetop. Take Hwy 260 east to Bucksprings Rd., and turn left at the light.
